As of August 1, recruits for the class of 2025 can receive an official offer from a college

August 1 marks the day college coaches can give to be seniors 'official offers'. Everything leading up to that day is considered a 'verbal offer'.Several of Florida's 2025 commits and targets have shared their official offers over social media. Swamp247 highlights some of those names to share their official offer.
The Gators currently hold 12 verbal commitments at the start of August. Their 2025 recruiting class currently ranks No. 50 on 247Sports team recruiting rankings. There are still several targets left on the board for UF, both uncommitted and flip targets. The Gators have a few targets set to decide sometime in the month of August, so their commitment list still has some upward mobility.
Here is a look at some of the names who have shared what a UF official offer looks like.
4-star OL Ziyare Addison (Oregon commit)
Blessed to receive my Official Offer from The University Of Florida. @GatorsFB pic.twitter.com/B9ngDwxGWb
— Ziyare Addison (@ziyare_addison) August 1, 2024
The Gators recruited Addison hard this cycle, and hosted him for an official visit back in the month of June. Addison didn't seem all that high on Florida before the spring, but after a pair of campus visits, he seemed to be giving them a harder look. As he took his official visits in the month of June, the Oregon Ducks earned his verbal pledge coming out of his weekend in Eugene. The Gators are likely to keep recruiting Addison, but he seems to be solid in that decision.
4-star Edge Jalen Wiggins (Florida commit)

One of the Gators top commitments this cycle. He was viewed as a lean to Florida since adding an offer last year, and was a regular visitor to campus. Coming out of a January visit to campus, he committed the following day. He took summer official visits to Stanford, Florida, and Florida State, but at the end of June, he stated his recruitment was shut down.
3-star TE Micah Jones (Florida commit)
Blessed❤️?@coach_bnapier @russcallaway @pjgadzicki8 @katieturner0087 @briazjawade @Blake_Alderman @Corey_Bender @MCJags_Football @ESPN3ALLDAY pic.twitter.com/d0tOyBJQYQ

One of two commitments for the Gators this cycle at the tight end position. The Gators emerged as the team to beat after a handful of visits this year. Coming out of his June official visit, he tabbed the Gators as his leader. Despite taking official visits to Arkansas and Mississippi State, the Gators landed his commitment at the end of June.
K Evan Noel (Arkansas commit)
Blessed!? @coach_bnapier @CoachJoeHouston @KohlsKicking @HKA_Tanalski pic.twitter.com/StOvDMrBug
— Evan Noel (@EvanNoel14) August 1, 2024
Has been committed to Arkansas since last year, but recently landed an offer this past week from head coach Billy Napier. He worked out in front of the Gators in June, and interest started to pick up following that. Though current kicker Trey Smack has this season, and next season to play, the Gators are looking towards the future when Smack eventually moves onto his next chapter once his college playing days are finished. Though he's committed elsewhere, the Gators are a team that Noel is still giving a hard look at.
3-star DL Jarquez Carter (Ohio State commit)
Blessed to receive an official offer from the University of Florida #GoGators pic.twitter.com/XlgkO3wcxK
— Jarquez Carter (@JarquezCarter) August 1, 2024
A target along the defensive line that resides about 15 minutes from campus. He was one of the first offers for first year defensive line coach Gerald Chatman after he was hired at UF. Carter visited several times over the course of the year, and recently made a commitment to Ohio State. Despite that pledge being fresh, he was still in Gainesville this past weekend for the Gators recruiting cookout. He plans to keep an eye on Florida this season, and still seems to be a target the Gators have a shot at down the line.
4-star OL Tavaris Dice (Auburn commit)

A target that Florida has been extremely high on this cycle. He was a name that landed an offer early on in the process from Florida. Of the offers he added over the course of his recruitment, Auburn and Florida were the two programs he's visited the most. He committed to the Tigers back in March, but even though he picked elsewhere, the Gators are still pressing very hard to change his mind. He's taken two trips to UF since committing to Auburn, including an official visit in June. He's still listening to what UF has to say, and is looking to be at a game this season. The Gators are hopeful he will attend their season opener at the end of August.
3-star P Hayden Craig (Florida commit)
Can’t wait go GATORS ?? @coach_bnapier @CoachJoeHouston @Bridgton_Ftbl pic.twitter.com/YBoMcX9laF
— Hayden Craig (@craighayden05) August 1, 2024
With current Florida punter Jeremy Crawshaw in his final year of college eligibility, the Gators wanted to have someone at the position for the future. Craig camped for UF in the month of June, was offered during that trip, and committed the following day.
3-star DL Jeramiah McCloud (Florida commit)
Officially offered ???? @coach_bnapier @GatorsFB @CoachGChatman @CoachPattersonJ pic.twitter.com/M004Da4DFh
— Jeramiah McCloud (@Zell2hollywood2) August 1, 2024
Started to have his recruitment blow up after earning MVP honors on the defensive line at the Under Armour camp in Orlando back in January. Florida extended an offer to McCloud after that performance, and immediately was a team he stated he would be taking a strong look at. He opened the year committed to Mississippi State, but as more attention, offers, and visits to schools happened as the year went on, he eventually opened his recruitment back up. It wasn't long after that when he pulled the trigger and committed to Florida. He's been a regular visitor to campus, and has even been recruiting others to join the class. While he states he's solid, he's still talking with other schools and has been upfront in saying he was open to visiting others.
4-star LB Jakaleb Faulk (Auburn commit)
Thank you @GatorsFB ?‼️?? pic.twitter.com/FbaSbbWAyP

A longtime commitment to Auburn. Not only is he an in-state prospect for AU, but his older brother is one of the promising young players on the roster. He took an official visit to UF in the summer and has still been hearing out the staff.
